Resumen:
The papers included in this book addreses the experiences of the most important economies in South America and Europe- Argentina, Brazil and Germany- regarding how they cope with globalization at the turn of the century. The main interest in comparing the national perspectives is to understand which are the common challenges of a higly internationalized economic world, which are the differences in the shocks the countries are subject to, and how they react to the specific economic policy problems. The issues were presented and discussed in a Seminar held in Vaquerías, Córdoba (Argentina).
